India had in past had a recorded 113 species of cows in the country unfortunately only 38 of them are left. Moreover only 38 of them are considered the best from high milk production point of view. World’s most modern cow shelter is being build and similar centers will be set up in the rest parts of the country.

Breed selection, semen selection, embryo transplantation, etc. are the methods through which we can improve the breeds and such cows will be capable of giving 50-60 kg milk. Patanjali has planned to spend Rs.500 Cr. on this project.

With this we will be able to improve the breeds of nearly nine crore domestic cows and this way the lost glory of mother cow will be re-established in the country.
